Mission:
The La Conner Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the economic, cultural, and civic welfare of the La Conner area; and is dedicated to promoting La Conner while preserving the uniqueness and charm of the community. LaconnerChamber.com, with excellent traffic and high search engine placement, is a dynamic website directing visitors & locals to our member businesses. Home Page Rotating Banner Ads: Chamber members can take advantage of this very affordable marketing avenue by signing up at the Platinum or Gold Level Membership. Email info@laconnerchamber.com to join or to change your current level of membership. La Conner Happenings via Website, Flyers, and Newsletter Promote your business happenings on the 'LaConnerChamber.com Happenings' which is prominently displayed on the home page, in the newsletter, and on flyers distributed around the community. This is a great way for visitors, locals, and chamber members to learn about upcoming happenings with your business. Business Profile At the Platinum Level, You have the opportunity to have your business profiled in the Chamber's newsletter, the 'The LaConnerite" and on the home page of LaConnerChamber.com. Simply provide the Chamber with up to 250 words profiling your business and what makes it special, along with your logo or photo in electronic format. We will feature it in the newsletter & on the website on a first come basis. La Conner Visitor Guide Each year, La Conner Chamber creates & prints the La Conner Visitor Guide. You have the opportunity to have your business logo and description showcased. This powerful publication is taken to trade shows, distributed at festivals, shipped to tour operators, welcome centers, local businesses, Sea-Tac airport, the La Conner Visitor Information Center and mailed or handed to individual inquiries. La Conner Visitor Information Center Display your brochures in the Visitor Information Center. The VIC receives over 4,000 visitors through our doors each year. Not to mention the visitors that contact us by phone, email and US mail. We are very busy promoting the Village of La Conner and our chamber members. Open 6 days per week, we have a knowledgeable staff of volunteers to help residents, merchants, visitors and others. Event Sponsorships The Chamber offers a number of opportunities for a business to enhance its name recognition through event sponsorships. Sponsorships provide a significant presence for that business not only from a marketing perspective, but also from a community support perspective. Levels of sponsorship vary, as do the types of events. Contact the Chamber for more information on these great opportunities. Business After Hours & Net@Noon Host a social mixer in your place of business. It is a great way to get people through your doors to see what you are all about. For those in attendance, networking, door prizes, hors d' oeuvres, beverages and fun are all a part of this monthly ritual. Our Net@Noon luncheons and breakfast meetings are a great way to network with other businesses around Skagit Valley. Net@Noon also boasts a keynote speaker providing you information to make your business even more successful. Newsletter Advertising The 'LaConnerite' comes out once per month featuring all the latest information and goings on from the Chamber. This great publication is direct mailed to members and individuals in the community. Membership Mailing Lists Send your message or invitation exclusively to your fellow Chamber members with our membership e-mailing list. Or, use our bulk mail permit to save on postage.
